Why Choose TFMASA?
TFMASA is a joint international master programme offered by three Universities: UniversitΓ© de Bordeaux (France), BTU Brandenburgische Technische UniversitΓ€t Cottbus (Germany) and the Louvain (EPL, Belgium) with innovative features such as the integration of renewable energy sources and the environmental impact for green transition in the field of aviation. It addresses the objectives of the Erasmus+ programme, and specifically the priority βEnvironment and climate changeβ.
TFMASA aims at training the next generation of highly qualified more gender-balanced engineers and researchers able to propose decarbonised, sustainable solutions in the aeronautical and space fields. The TFMASA consortium encourages students to acquire a wider range of skills to deal with tasks in a solution oriented way, taking into account not only the scientific and technical requirements, but also the context in which the proposed solution will be implemented (economic framework conditions, social benefits, environment impact, national policies and so on).Β
The consortium ambition is to make the TFMASA joint master, a key player in Europe and worldwide, able to attract excellent students from around the world, and continuously adapted to the labour market evolution in these fields. Strong relations with the industry in this field (DLR, Aerospace Valley, SONACA, SABCA, Safran, Rolls Royce, Chesco, Onera to name a few) have been established and the proposed learning content is based on knowledge transfers with its industrial partners. Besides academic courses, the master will welcome academic and industry guest lecturers.
